CQR Anchor

I am looking for a used 45 lb CQR. must be a lot of salvage in the south right now, does anyone have the phone number of some salvage yards that may have used anchors. hate to spend $700 on a new one.

Thanks
Bill

In the meantime, I can think of a number of CQRs I've seen lately as mailbox posts. *grin*

I have two CQR's I will sell for 100.00 each. One is currently on the bow the other in the chain locker. I just boat a new Mantus and no longer want or need the CQR's. Located Kemah, TX.

That observation, however, is priceless. :laugher

Sorry Ed, but that was pretty funny. Welcome to the forum.

Why a CQR? If you put a wanted post at the local marina i would imagine that you would get a lot of takers.

I sold our 60 pound CQR for $200.

Why would anyone want a CQR, when the new anchors are amazing?

Brad

They are cheaper than new and a good addition to ground tackle arrays I carry two fortresses a 16# and a 27# and a plow type also have a 30# navy anchor never know what may work in what conditions wouldn't say no to a cheap CQR onboard myself
