Alex, I had already updated e7 my firmware once before, via micro SD as you mentioned, but I'm jazzed about Lighthouse II!

Just a note: I just got a communication from Raymarine about my e7 MSD. It was being recalled due to problems with the touchscreen. I sent it back to Raymarine and they will replace it. If you registered your unit, you should receive a notice as well. If not, check their site.

I saw that too. I'm excited about the fix, my touchscreen goes out of alignment pretty easily. I'm not excited about not having the MFD for a few weeks, but at least it's in the slower sailing season.

The new Lighthouse II will have pinch to zoom capabilities, like a smartphone.
