Boatyard wanted Oxnard California

Well, I finally bought my boat! A Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 51, 1991. It is a fixer, but soild otherwise.

I would like to know what yard in Oxnard or Ventura CA is recommended to do things like bottom job re- rig my boat after it is delivered on a truck from back East...Bottom job( some blister repair and paint etc.)and misc. electric work (adding a watermaker).

Any contacts would be helpfull and any advise and experiences would be great.

There are two yards I''ve liked there.
Anchors Way,Ventura (good rigger Mike Kelly,
yard owner is former racer and fair)

Channel Islands Boatyard. CI Harbor, Lonnie is the mgr.

Don''t use Ana Capa Marine. Their work was marginal. Had a new strut built at the machine shop that shares the boat yard, guy''s name was Larry. Refused to stand by his work. After 30 engine hours had to have the boat hauled and the strut repaired.
