Removing old caulk

I am in the process of rebedding much of the hardware on my Cat 22. One problem I am coming across is removing the old caulk from between the deck and the hardware. It is still tacky and doesn''t come up very well with just a scraper, acetone, and elbow grease. Are there any products available that will help me with this task without messing up my deck?

I''ve successfully used a product called "Anti-Bond" I have seen it at most good marine stores. Give that a try.
