Jabsco Electric Marine Toilet Conversion Kit

I have installed a Jabsco Electric Marine Toilet Conversion Kit and I am very pleased with the unit.
However, when I flush, the excrement somehow flows into the rinse water and I can't figure out why. The two pumps are separated by the height of the unit, with the flush below and the rinse water at the top and the motor between. The through hulls are about 10 feet apart, so it can't be that.
Any ideas? Thanks.

The exploded drawing of the pump is available at http://www.xylemflowcontrol.com/file...43001-0524.pdf. Considering that the two pump chambers are separated by the motor itself and share no connections any cross contamination cannot be within the pump itself. I wonder if what you are observing washing into the bowl isn't contamination of the raw water rather than waste material. If the raw water is passing through a filter (it should be) it may be due to a breakdown of the filter screen material.

FWIW...

"the two pump chambers are separated by the motor itself and share no connections any cross contamination cannot be within the pump itself."
EXACTLY! That's why I'm seeking help.
No possibility of "breakdown of the filter screen material" as it's a new filter, installed w/ the pump, this month. Living at anchor in the West Indies, "contamination of the raw water" is unlikely, especially considering we've been in many places since installation.
Thanks though.
