Spar cleaner & wax

The anodized aluminum of my boat''s main & mizzen masts, booms, etc., had been neglected by the prior owner. The original Selden bright silver finish is now dull and dirty.

Selden''s owner''s manual recommends regular cleaning & waxing to preserve & maintain the finish . . . a job I will do prior to spring launch. Since both masts are unstepped for the winter, this will be a good opportunity.

I recently heard a recommendation for a product called Woody''s Wax to restore & protect anodized aluminum. Can anyone here back that choice, or suggest an alternative?

Steve
