Bimini options

I have an Ericsion 31 Independence and am looking for bimini options (on the cheap).

A new, custom one has been guesstimated at $1800 and four months before install. Does anyone have a favorite solution for a standard, mail order unit I could modify into place?

I am looking at an 8 foot long cover that is roughly 8 feet wide and has 36-42" clearence.

Thanks, I''ve been very happy with her. I picker her up in NYC and sailed it up to Mass, then Maine (where she is used today).

What is your expirience with the E31''s?
