Keel Joint on Hunter 25.5

Hi all,

any suggestions on how to fix the rusted/chipped keel joint? I heard it''s a common thing on hunters. I just wanted to see if anyone had done it and what is best way of fixing the rusted keel at the joint.

thanks

neil

Remove the rust by sanding or chemical means. www.yachtpaint.com Interprotect primer 2000E
http://www.westsystem.com/frames/tier1/usingepoxy.htm
I am useing 404 filler 105 epoxie 206 hardner.Make sure the keel bplts are ok torque them and prep sand and bottom paint. The Interprotect needs to be tacky where it will leave a thumb print but not stick to your skin. That is when you put your bottom paint on if you let it dry you have to remove it and start over.
