Battery Recharge System

I have a CP23 and would like to know what the best way to go for recharging my battery when I cannot get to shore power for extended trips. Is it wind, solar, motor or extra batteries that will provide me with the best insurance for having a full battery?

Bob...I think it all depends on your electrical use needs. Do you have refrigeration? Do you know how many amps you use per day? What is the present amp-hour capacity of your existing battery system? Do you have 2 battery banks or just one? How big is your present engine alternator?
