P-26 Transom Trim

I have been searching for the trim piece that goes around the motor transom on my Pearson P-26. If anyone out there has an idea as to where I can find this trim I would love to know. I have tried TACO and DR Marine, NO GO. Need a little help shipmates.

P-26 Transom Trim

D&R used to have it, as I purchased it for my P-26 years ago. It was just straight 90 degree angle stock that you warmed up with a heat gun an bent to shape. I threw out all my extra when I moved a long time ago. :<(

You might check some of the better sign shops in your area. I happen to be picking up some lettering for my tender when I saw this HUGE roll of 3/16" white lexan. I was told they use it for signs.

If you could get a 4" strip from their scrap, you might be able to bend it to shape on a table edge with a heat gun.

You could also try something CR Lawerence in L.A. They make hundreds of different extrusions. They may have something that is close enough. they have offices throughout the US.

Warn you now that getting that compound bend at the bottom of the opening is not easy.
