pigment for gel koat

Hi!
Can I match the color of a gel-kote to my
boat color. Can I use pigments from house paint for example Dutch Boy?

Yes you can match gelcoat. If you have some time and patience you can get close to the current shade or color.Keep in mind the color has changed over time and you need to make allowences for that. Tinting Gelcoat is a fustrating project . Remember a little color can make some big changes to the base color. You will need to use tinting agents made for gelcoat. Good luck

Express/Bill S is right. You''re dealing with plastic. Anything is possible - it just may not be fun.
