Painting the interior

Does anyone have any experience with using good quality Acrylic paint on their boat''s interior?

A friend of mine used latex interior paint on his interior and indicated it held up just fine.

I used the same paint to cover some plastic plugs hiding some through bolting and it has held up great for about 3 years now.

I know of a few people who have used interior latex without issue. We opted for Topside because we could do the whole interior for about $10 and still be kinda "nautical" about it (smile).
