ABI LED Lights - NO tinned wire

So my two new LED lights are installed, but I discovered that the only tinned wire is the last inch (at the connection) where the chinese workers tinned it with a soldering iron. True for both the bar and round style

Irritating because the LED light throws a nice glow at low amps, HOWEVER I shouldn''t be getting shortcuts on an $80 lamp.
