Thin film bottom paint coverage

I was looking at the coverage for VC-17 and SR-21 (both thin film bottom paints) and was surprised that the coverage wasn't more that ablative paints. Catalog says 80 sqft per quart for both the thin film paints and about 400 sqft per gallon for most ablatives. Is that about what you have found?
