Re: Isotherm frig

Philsmith32 We need allot more information. age, model number, locaton of unit, ambient operation temp, etc. IF you hear gas in the plate and it's not getting "sticky cold" Meaning cold enough that your finger sticks to the plate when you touch it after about an hour. It could be refrigerant. Most of these little systems use very small amounts of refrigerant. (around 5 oz +-) Most DIYs make more problems then they fix. since just the 3 hoses on the gauges hold 3-6 oz of gas alone. The leak; if there is one, is most likely at the "quick connect" fittings. You could have a dirty condenser, intermittent fan, short cycling from power problems to module problems.

Sight glass? Not likely, Larger units with engine mounted compressors may have a sight glass
