request feathering prop info

Looking at purchasing a feathering prop for a 39ft beneteau based UK / Europe. Considering a "Max-prop" (Italian made and supplied by "Darglow"in the UK) or a "Variprop" (made in Germany and supplied by "CJR propulsion" in the UK). Both look good and similar. Does anyone have any thoughts or views about these propellers? Thanks.

Maxiprop is well known world wide and is highly regarded. I have never heard of the Variprop.

Installed a Max-prop on my Beneteau 31 3 yrs ago. Best purchase I ever made! Would recommend professional installation though.Prop was dis/reassembled 5 times & boat was hauled once before things were right.Performance under power- forward 98% of fixed blade prop, reverse 200%. Under sail, light air a full knot faster, med. air 1/2 knot faster.

Suggest consideration be given to Flex o fold propellers. I have been hearing really good comments on this one.
