Looking for a source to buy boards to replace some interior flooring. Where do you buy this. Also are there any places that you could just send the boards and have them duplicated.
Thanks!

Harbor Sales on the eastern shore of Maryland carries what you need. I got mine there, finished it, and it looks great.

Drynoc,I found the web page, but noticed it is teak and holly. The interior or my boat is mahogany and the current salon flooring is mahogany and holly (I guess). It is a dark
rich color. Anyway 4x8 sections quite expensive, which mm size did you choose?

Neicy,

We took our floor sections to a local full service lumber yard. They ordered the teak-and-holly ply, cut to match and provided a finished product for under $1,000 (14 pieces total). They said they''d done dozens of cabin soles over the years.
Check yards located in an area well-populated with boats...

Good luck,
Tom

Neicy,

To be honest, I can''t remember what thickness I got. I would guesstimate that they are 1/4 inch. Total cost was about $300 plus some varnish and time. Harbor Sales will also ship. If you have the site, I''m sure their number is there. Call them and see what they have. It is a huge place, and they have a great selection.

I used to live in Charleston, and am thinking of moving there when I retire (not soon). Where do you live, and what is the sailing like?

I live in the Charleston area also. Sailing is new in my household. Have been attending Annapolis shows since 94 and finally last summer took the plunge and bought an older boat. Spent a good deal of the summer doing some upgrades, but we are really looking forward to this summer. It is really a nice place to have a boat and plenty of folks come here to retire.

Tom, I hope your boat is bigger than mine as I sure don''t want to spend that much. You state finished product so I assume it was already varnished, etc. There are several premium places in my area, so I will definately check it out. Thanks!
