AIS (Automatic Identification System)

I have recently installed an AIS listener and PC display capability. Details at http://yachtvalhalla.net/projects/ais/ais.htm

Would appreciate comments from others who may have AIS or want to share information.

ais receiver

I have c-map chips for the areas that i will be sailing.
if i download the sob software and get the ais (nasa) unit as well as a gps
what else will i need besides a laptop?
