MAST HEAD CATALINA 38

Please don''t say Catalina38.org great guys but I dont have the time to wait for a reply.
My questiion is about the mast head removal.
I have not been up the mast to check it out but I can''t see any bolts to take out so I can get the head off and get to the shivs on a Catalina 38. If any one has any information on this rig please let me know. I need to change the wire shivs to line shivs aluminum or plastic what would be the best heavy sailing ????? need ASAP. Diagrams and specs would be a great help.

Well I was contacted by a man who worked for LeFiell the company on the west coast who built the masts for the Catalina 38.

A few in the early years1979-1980 were built by some other company but most were Lefiell a high tech company which is also into aerospace since 1930. They were very helpful when I called and seems they are up and running strong. Nice equipment no matter what yacht you have.
