Relocation of Radar Dome

I bought a boat that had the radar dome located on a pole mount. I have purchased a Seaview mast mount to relocate the dome to the mast. Here is the problem. The unit is a Furuno 1720 (10 yrs old) and when I contacted Furuno about some extra cable for this transfer, they said they did not make it anymore as the unit was not available and the current accessories would not work. Any ideas? They also said the current screens would not be interchangeable with my dome, to be able to update would be EVERYTHING new.

Check ebay. Radar cables come up frequently.

I know what's it's like to try and save money, but 10 year old electronics that's not compatable is most probably not worth the trouble. Several resons: Reliability, repair, and power consumption (the new gear uses MUCH less power than the old gear.)
