Roller furlers

I am looking for a new roller fuler for my 30'' ''67 Pearson Wanderer. It has one of the older model Hoods now. Does anyone have any thoughts on Profurl and Spintec? If you have one that you think is very good or very bad, what is it and why?

Profurl has a very strong reputation for reliability and parts availablity. I have never heard of Spintec.

See the message that is currently about 5 or 6 below yours entitled "in search of easy rollerfurling..." One of the respondents had alot of experience with different brands.
My opinion would be to take a good look at CDI--its a flexable furler with a lifetime warranty that covers just about everything. Their prices are excellent also.

I was in contact with Hood recently and they were offering 50% off the price of a new unit to current Hood furler units owners..you might check it out and save $$$.

I have owned both Hood & Profurl--there is no comparison; go with the Profurl.
