Hi
I'm just about to replace my sacrificial anodes. I need to replace the fixing bolts which go through the hull. Initial thought was that I could just use Sikaflex on the threads and bolt hole to ensure a watertight seal. Obviously the anode will be mechanically secured by the nuts on the inside of the hull. I have researched this and people say this is what to do. My question is :- Would it be safer to use epoxy to fix and seal the bolt where it goes through the hull or will the Sikaflex be enough?
