Rigging Specifications

Where does one find the proper rigging tolerances for a 37 year old sailboat? I can adjust for straight/centered and prebend, but how tight does everything need to be? Something tells me this has been covered before, so jsut point me in the right direction. And yes, I'm planning on purchasing a Loos gauge.
