The ULTIMATE Cooler...

This really is so cool! This would be perfect on a daysailor that does not have a full galley. I hope he get's the funds needed to start production.

They only wanted $50K and are currently at $1.1 million. I think it is safe to say this will see production.

Kewl and alla that; but I'd be more interested in it's capacity to remain cold with less "new" ice!
Gimme a coolerthat works; not one with gadgets

We have one of these:

Koolatron P75 Kool-Kaddy 12-Volt 57-Can Cooler / Warmer at ATG Stores

Does exactly as it says, 40 degrees, plus a little more, lower than the outside temperature, pulls about 5 amps of 12 volt DC power & has a 110 volt AC converter. Just keep it out of the sun & it works, kind of like magic, no compressor.
