Isotherm SPA Water heaters

I'm looking at getting a new water heater and looking at the isotherm line - anyone know why the SPA line is so much cheaper than their other offerings, including the Basic line? There is a $300 price difference! I can't see much difference in the description

Re: Isotherm SPA Water heaters

I believe because of the plastic outer case. I have the SPA 30 and love it. I did have to source the stainless steel hose fittings from a home brewery company though.

They kind of look like the old Superstore that are no longer made, did they buy the rights for that or something?
