Green wire from inverter

I''ve wired the AC side of a 1200W inverter to an unused generator breaker on my AC panel. The panel has physical interlocks preventing the inverter from being paralleled with shore power so it is a good location. My question is what to do with the green saferty ground wire. If I wire it with the other safety grounds, will I be tying my DC and AC systems together when I'm on shore power and the inverter is not in service? The inverter has a case ground that is supposed to be tied to the DC ground bus.

Do You Have An Inboard Motor Or Out Board ?if Its In Board Ground Directly To The Motor Block'and Back To Box; If Outboard Ground Boxes Together This YOU WILL need To Check For Condinuity From Box To Box First.if You Have A Good Resistance This Will Work;also Check If Your Inverter It Should Have A Indipendent Ground If So Use That,

DeepFrz is an unknown quantity at this point
An important check while you are at is to make sure that you have NO connection between green wire ground and AC common on your boat.

The green wire ground should connect to your DC ground block.
