Loran Antenna

Was Dismasted on a 30 Catalina in a race about 5 weeks ago and my Apelco Loran Antenna 6000 Dxl was sheared off. Can,t get a new one and am looking to buy a used one. Have a GPS but use Loran as backup.

Loran Antenna

I have an ultra nav loran system module # ELC-1(Eagle). It seems when the whip was taken down with a clumsy 3rd mate it jarred something in the module, thus not responding. Any ideas would be helpfull along with a possible contact to locate a new or used module. We have checked cable and whip. Both were found to be good.

Thanks John

lotus123,
Are you looking for the antenna or antenna coupler?

Loran Antenna

I needed a thru-hull puck for my discontinued 1992 Apelco 6550 Loran/Fishfinder/Plotter and I went to West Marine and they called Raytheon and got basic info and then gave me the number to call them and make sure it was the right idea.

You might want to get ahold of West and talk to them or get the number for the parts people at Raytheon and see if they can help you out.....or repair your coupler. That is unless you have already taken these steps.
