Autoprop - Exceptional customer service

I've had an Autoprop since 1999 that has been terrific; I love it. In selling the boat recently, boat was hauled for first time in a year as part of survey, and it was apparent it was time to replace the prop's bearings. Problem was that buyer had brought crew and wanted to sail away with boat. Steve Armitage at Autoprop to the rescue. The prop was pulled, driven over to Autoprop's office in Newport, RI, where Steve dropped everything to rebuild the prop right then and there. The prop was reinstalled, the sale went through, and the buyer happily sailed away with an Autoprop that ought to be good for another seven years. Customer service that in my view is exceptional. (Usual disclaimer: I have no connection with Autoprop, don't know Steve Armitage, and am just a happy customer.)

Nice to hear that, vendors who go the extra mile deserve the kudos for it!
