These are perfect! They'll make setup and tear-down a breeze. Thanks.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

One last thing. I'd like to put one of those "hooks" (looks like a a short bent stainless rod) on the bow for the foresail that uses a rubber "keeper". With that, I can just slip the jib tack(?) eyelet over it. Am I making any sense? Today I'm tieing it on with a short bit of line. It works but I'm trying to decrease my parking lot time and increase my on-the-water-time.

Do you know what those are called and where I might look for one?
Andy

They're generally called tack hooks, and can be found at: http://www.defender.com/product.jsp?path=-1|118|319693|319695&id=75055

I have my new tack hook installed and the quick-release shroud adjusters just arrived. Should be in business by the week end. New trailer arrived about the same time so I'm fussing with that. Still no word on sources of cedar for the boom. I'll probably finish this season out with duct tape and long screws...
