Gill OS1 vs OS2 bibs

Has anyone ever looked closely at both the Gill OS1 and OS2 trowsers to be able to say how different they are? Been wanting a pair, and I know PS rates the OS2 foulies highly. But if I can get the OS1's for an extra yard ($100), I'm wondering if the difference is worth it for offshore sailing?
Thanks for your informed impressions/opinions.

How much do you value a dry butt? Me, I'd get the best ones in my budget, and if going offshore, I'd extend the budget to get something designed for that environment.
