Tips for installing new tank

I'm looking to permanently mount a 6 gallon water tank.

Any tips or pictures for mounting a rectangular tank in a non-rectangular boat?

I imagine I want to glass in a couple pieces of wood but I haven't decided how to do it. If it was semi-removable that would be a plus. It's only 6-gallons so it doesn't weigh a ton.

It's probably going under the port side setee which will have vertical fiberglass on one side and the curved hull on the other.

The boat originally had a 15-gallon tank which was, IIRC, curved to match the hull.

Glass in some beds to support it and maybe keep it from sliding around. Tie it down with something. That's the normal way. Protect any wood from rot.

You want to make a platform for the tank to sit on. Exterior grade plywood should be fine for that. Then some blocks to keep the tank from moving around and a strap to hold it in place.
