Plastic Shackles - Where to get?

Anyone know where I can get these kinds of plastic shackles - being used to attach my mainsail to the mast track slides.

Mine are quite old and are not breaking. If I can find these exact replacements, what should they be replaced with?

Thanks!

Re: Plastic Shackles - Where to get?

Sailmakers have lots of them, slightly used, and usually give them away free.

Re: Plastic Shackles - Where to get?

J,

like Rich said, Sailrite.com. I buy from them often. Be sure to measure the shackle first. They have many sizes. Measure the inside of the shackle to the center of the screw or snap point. They have a video on how to measure. Be sure to order extra because if one gave up the ghost, the rest aren't long for this world. I lost every one on my mainsail one day. Lost the bottom one and watched the rest unzip to the top in about 5 seconds. Not fun.
