Sailnet Mesh Bag for Line Storage
All, I have managed to drop the Sailnet bag, which stored our Spin lines while racing, overboard and can't find a replacement. It was a white mesh bag that buttons over the lifeline, about 1 ft square. Any recommendations for replacements? Bags I've found so far use suction cups, the button functionality is key. Thank you! Might want to look at Sailrite.com and see what they've got for sheet bags. If they don't have what you're looking for exactly, they'll have the materials to make whatever you want.

Buttons must be better than the suction cups, since the suction cups never worked for us. You may have to talk to your sailmaker for that. Another possibility might be to attach velcro tape to an existing or purchased mesh bag, and loop the the velcro tape over the lifeline and back to the bag. K.I.S.S.

If you're going to use velcro...make sure you get the exterior grade velcro, which is made from polyester rather than nylon and IIRC lasts a good deal longer outside.

Sailrite.com has something very similar, and the velcro solution was a great idea! Thank you all for your reviews and recommendations!
