ancient Goiot furling part

I have Goiot furling on my Ontario 32 dating back pre 1990. Goiot Systems is no help. Does anyone remember how the drum bearings were mounted? This unit is very well built and has lots of life left to it if my machinist can understand what supported the bearing holder.
