ddilman is an unknown quantity at this point
water in the fuel tank

I feel pretty embarrassed saying that I put water in my diesel tank. When I realized it's the wrong tank, I had already put 2-3 cups in there.
I drained the water by opening the drain knob at the bottom of the fuel/water separator and then started the engine. It took about five minutes before the engine turned off and I can’t start it now.
What needs to be done to get the engine to start?

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
