Question Water Miser Battery Caps

I've been told placing these Water Miser Battery Caps significantly reduce wate evaporation as well as offering several other benefits to battery maintenance and life. Does anyone have personal experience with this product or comparable ones and are they worth the $$$?Many thanks.

Re: Water Miser Battery Caps

Yes I know the thread started in 2006. After reading about battery orientation,
Installation & Orientation of Flooded Batteries Photo Gallery by Compass Marine at pbase.com

I started looking around for aftermarket battery caps that would allow the battery to vent gas but not allow water/acid to leak out. I haven't found any caps. I did find an image of a set from Autolite that claimed spill proof but can't find them for sale.
Anyone know of an aftermarket battery cap that prevents spills?
