Rockter will become famous soon enough
It's good to be in cold fresh water again, even if it did freeze and crack an engine barrel.

It must be really tough in the tropics, in warm salty water.

Matt, with regards to your comment about boats many slips away affecting the zincs, does that mainly mean keeping an eye on the zincs to ensure they aren't fully used up, and replacing them in a timely manner, or do you think it's necessary or adviseable to routinely install a galvanic isolator?
Frank.

An isolator is never a bad idea, IMHO, but I wouldn't personally go to the trouble and expense unless rapid zinc depletion was a chronic problem.

Thanks for the lesson! The rudder post and keel are the only thing on my old 68 Ericson made of metal so do I need them?

It is not common practice to provide anodic protection for either the keel or the rudder post.
