Diesel install guide

On my new (project) boat the old 4-108 was removed and a 4-107 was dropped in its' place. I have the manuals for the engine and can see a lot of the parts but I was wondering if someone can suggest a good guide to design and installation of things like raw water intake systems, water lift mufflers, fuel delivery systems, etc. I'm learning bits and pieces here and there but it would be much simpler if the info was in one place. Any ideas?
