Genset and Watermaker

We are planning to cruise with 3 teenage girls and are looking at adding a AquaGen Kabota kit 150 or Aquamarine water maker.

Any one have any suggestions or experience with the above?

no but we use a watermaker by SK Watermakers HC 1000 (GPD) model aboard a power yacht. very efficient and low maintenance. they have smaller size models (and low power) easily suitable for sailing vessels, but i figured i'd mention ours anyway.

also, non-proprietary (standard) components so it's easy to maintain and repair.

check em out, for what its worth..
