Volvo 55HP Diesel Repair

My trusty new boat, which was supposed to have Yanmar 56 HP as an upgrade option decided to go with Volvo 55's instead. My problem is that I don't know much about diesel repair and had planned to go to the Mack Boring school for boatowners with Yanmars (I think it's a 2-3 day deal). Does anyone know if there is a similar training facility for Volvos or somewhere else that would be hands-on versus books only. Any info will be helpful.
