Antifouling Paint Remover - Best product?

Would love to know what people are using that they find effective these days?

I have a project that involves removal of (I think) 4-5 thick layers of anti-fouling before I can get a barrier coat on.

Blasting not an option. Spray on is an option.

Ideally useful in sub 60 F / 15 C degree weather (Toronto)

All suggestions welcome
Thanks in advance!

Thanks! The search function provided me with 495 options - the first 100 of which were not at all what I wanted! Appreciate the link.

I didn't try this on antifouling, but did on hull stripes. Safe for gelcoat, quite a thick gel so stays put OK. It's a messy job but seemed to soften up that paint despite working at lower than recommended temps, it's non toxic to the user too, which is nice. "Aquastrip".

I think you'd need quite a bit of it.

I did remove several years' worth of AF paint last spring with scrapers and the help of some friends and family.. 2-3 man-days and a sore back.. had the boat tented off, it all fell nicely to the ground with minimal dust - faster and easier than sanding. Followed up with vacuum sander.

Really the fatest way is 60 grit on a grinder... such as Fine or Festool... it will rip it fast but be careful.

Why is blasting not an option? What Ive seen used most recently is glass powder, leaves a smooth finish and little to no residual left in the gelcoat.
