Ametec/Calmec Auto-Pilot

I have recently purchased a Herreshoff Bobjack which is fitted with a Ametec/Calmec Marine Auto-Pilot. The unit is not working and I am having no success getting a response from Ametec about parts & service.
Is there anyone familiar with this unit who may be able to point me in the right direction for some help. I am Australia/New Zealand based, but USA service/agent would be OK. I can be contacted at leesmob@hotmail.com.

Calmec Auto-Pilot

I too have a Calmec Auto-Pilot, Mark X, Mod 1 that needs work. I also have the original Installation & Operation Manual along with both wiring diagrams and schemetics for all pieces. Actually, I still have the original receipt from 1975 ($516.19).

I have not been able to find the Ameteck or Calmec corporations. They used to be in Pico Rivera, Calif but are no longer.

If you find someone, please let me know.

barndt-

You are aware that the poster in question hasn't been active on this board in over six years... since the post you responded to was his first and only post, right?

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

I have a Mark X installed on my boat but completely in disuse from many years.
I'm an electronic technician, if you can send me your wiring diagrams I could resolve mine and your problem.
