mirage 236 retractable keel

i am bottom prepping my boat and have found that my keel is not solid.. sounds hollow in spots.. boat is tender and now i wonder if my keel is light.. how much should it weigh???

Not sure what the weight of the mirage keel should be but often they only put lead down in the the bottom of daggerboards like that. If it sounds hollow up high and dense down low you''re probably OK. I''ve sailed on them before and yes they''re tender.
