Haul out in Gulf Shores Alabama?

I am looking for a marine service to haul a sailboat out and load on a truck for shipment. Any leads out there? Thanks

This has been answered many times over... a search of the forums would easily yield a few answers, but since you don't seem to be capable of that... try Brownell Systems in Massachusetts. www.brownellsystems.com

They do work nationwide, and are one of the biggest manufacturer of the hydraulic trailers used to transport sailboats IIRC.

These guys are pretty close to Gulf Shores and have a travel lift.

I live in Orange Beach, right next to Gulf Shores and I do my haul outs in Pensacola FL, just a 3-4 hour ride over down the Intercoastal. There are many facilitys in Pensacola, I use Brown Marine http://www.brownmarine.com/

I talked to Brown Marina. They are good guys and I had them on my short list of contacts. I think I am going with Eastern Shore in Fairhope, mostly because of insurance. My company will not cover any sailboat in Florida. I have to move the boat up from Gulf shores to Fairhope, any words of advice? Maybe next Sunday or Monday to move the boat. As far as Sailordog goes, he reminds me of Biker Billy on the bicycing forum. Azzhole at first impression, but after a couple of years on the forum, it turns out he was one of the best contributors out there and a good guy. Unfortunatly he was killed in a cycling accident, and it was almost like losing a personal friend. We'll see...............
