Treadmaster removal

I''m looking for suggestions as to the best way to remove old Treadmaster from my deck, especially with regard to the residual glue/gunk underneath it. I''m thinking heat gun, but maybe someone has a better idea. Thanks, Joseph

Treadmaster removal

Removed Treadmaster from our 35foot sail boat. She is aluminum but we tried just about all chemicals that you could buy including acetone, MEK etc. No luck. Ended up using a Matabo grinder and 36 grit disk. May be alittle harsh if your hull is fiberglas. Good luck.
