I have kept my loran as a back up to my gps, however, through my handy work, I recently cut the antenna cable. Can I buy a fitting to rejoin the 2 ends or a splice of some sort. It appears to be a small version of a coax type of cable. Any thoughts - Plse!
Yes it is a coax. You can purchase a coupler and splice it. West Marine has a gold plated coupler that requires only a simple cut in the coax and no striping. It simply inserts into and crimped onto both ends and then screwed together.
