Facnor Experience

I'd appreciate experience info on the installation, use or performance of the Facnor Mainsail Furling system on a 30 to 34' boat. Michael

Michaelzuzu,

I have had several boats and several furlers and to me Facnor has proven to be the best.

I have a Code Zero Genoa furler, a little different from the standard furler as it is rolled/unrolled withj a continuous loop. Best buy I have ever made.

It is very low on deck, allowing the sail area to be larger, but needs special attention when furling/unfurling as it might "burn" your fingers.

Over here, Facnor makes their installation, with full guarantees. I can tell you their Genoa furler is very good, for the main, I don't know, but assume they are good too.

Highly recommended. I will try to dig a photo

Good luck

Price: About $2500 for the hardware, net of the mainsail.
