From what I can tell it seems to be split due to expansion and not an impact,
the split that I can see is aprox 1/4 inch wide. it is also on a cradel so I am unable to drop the board and really see what is going on. Also does anyone know how to take the cb pin out?

I'm not familiar with particulars of the G26, but I expect there is a big bolt that goes through the keel and acts as the pivot pin for the centerboard. The ends of the bolt are recessed and covered over with filler.

You'll need to find it, dig the filler out, undo the nut from the bolt, and probably use a sledge hammer and drift to drive the rusted bolt out of the rusted keel.

I'll probably be talking to someone this weekend who has experience with the G26. If my guess is wrong, I'll post a follow-up.

Re: Grampian 26 cracked centerboard

Any luck at fixing it? I recently had the cable break on my G23 and look forward to your experience on how this it was attached.
