Pacific Seacraft door latch

I haven't logged on in a while so I had my attention caught by the random photos on the front page titled pacific seacraft door latch. Is the owner tring to find a replacement or just showing us a broken one? It looks like a push button latch made by Halffe,if there is a part number on the back plate post it here and I will try to match it for you.
