internal cable raceway for Schaeffer mast
My '79 Bayfield 29 has an aluminum Schaeffer mast. Parts for the Schaeffer mast are, apparently, now made by Spartan and distributed by RigRite. The mast has two internal extruded grooves to support electrical raceways to keep wires inside from slatting. One of these grooves on my mast now has a hose-type raceway for the mast light wires. I’m trying to get a similar restraint that will fit in the other groove to house a co-ax cable to the VHF antenna. RigRiteey now uses mainsail-hank-like nylon “D-rings” with a bead on the side to slide up inside on the groove track. But on the one they supply (and sent me) the bead is too big and its neck too fat to fit. Has anyone found something else that will work! Thanks, John
